YouTube Service Issues Related to YouTube Partner Program Changes (YPP)
Update: 02/21/2018 4 pm EST: The service issues on YouTube earlier today are fixed! Most channels are able to upload, monetize, and use all features as normal. MCN backend features are also fixed.
YouTube is rolling out the YouTube Partner Program (YPP) changes to the platform today. Because of these changes, many YouTube features are unavailable or not working. These features include: missing monetization icons, 500 Internal Server Errors in the video manager, and service interruptions in the MCN interface.
We are working closely with YouTube for status updates and resolutions to these issues. We will inform you of any actions you may have to take or any workarounds that we find. Our team is dedicated to answering any questions you have about these issues, and we’ll continue to work on and monitor the situation.
If you're not seeing monetization $ icons on your channel–there's currently a technical issue and we're working to fix it! Thanks everyone for your reports and we'll share another update soon!
