Screenwave Media is hiring for the role of Social Media Manager. The right candidate will be a self-motivated, analytics-minded, entrepreneurial storyteller with excellent written communication skills and a passion for video games, new media, and online culture.

 

Responsibilities

  • Build a brand experience and social media strategy for Screenwave Media, our video games, partners, and events
  • Manage our social channels with quality content postings and frequent user engagement
  • Analyze data to evaluate content campaigns and inform social media goals and objectives
  • Create engaging written and visual content that caters to our communities
  • Must have the ability to be flexible and work a varied schedule that may include evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
  • Travel to events and conventions an average of once a month

Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage Screenwave Media communities, including our games and community events
  • Create engaging written and visual content that caters to our communities
  • Create and implement a measurable communication and marketing strategy
  • Provide customer support through direct interaction on our social media/Discord, and communicate with the team to resolve issues timely and appropriately
  • Shoot and edit videos for socials and other VOD platforms
  • Plan and host frequent events and streams
  • Travel to events and conventions an average of once a month
  • Must have the ability to be flexible and work a varied schedule that may include evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays

  • Support and manage channels with our customer service practices.
  • Recruit new channels through our sales practices.
  • Attend channel management and policy development team meetings.
  • Maintain a current knowledge of YouTube trends, features, and practices.
  • Travel to events and conventions as our representative.
