Community Manager and Social Media Marketing Internship (12 weeks, Part time, Paid)

Interested in Gaming and Anime? We are looking for self motivated individuals that understand geek culture to be part of our marketing team. As a Social Media and Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for building Screenwave Media’s brand identity, understanding and promoting our services, and communicating with our community.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating and implementing a content strategy plan for all social platforms
  • Establish a voice for Screenwave Media brand messaging
  • Obtaining a YouTube Certification in Content Strategy
  • Monitoring community trends, gathering necessary data and industry-related metrics
  • Community management and customer service on platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, and Steam
  • Engaging and original content creation for social platforms
  • Creating marketing materials for the use of our sales team
  • Constant interaction with partners, potential partners, and their audiences
  • Attend and cover industry related events and conventions
  • Other assigned tasks

Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of gaming, anime, YouTube, Twitch, and our content creators
  • Ability to adapt social media behaviors across all platforms and understand the audience
  • Strong communication skills online and in person
  • Must be enrolled in a degree program or a recent graduate
  • Able to travel to our offices in the Greater Philadelphia Area a few times a week
  • Graphic design and/or video content creation skills are not necessary, but helpful.

Channel Manager (Greater Philadelphia Area)

Interested in Gaming and Anime? We are looking for self motivated individuals that understand geek culture to be part of our channel management team. As a Channel Manager, you will be responsible for supporting Screenwave partners through a variety of different skills (SEO, Channel Strategy, Content ID, Brand Deals, etc.), recruiting YouTube channels, and maintaining a knowledge of current trends and channel strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and manage YouTube channels through Screenwave Media channel management and customer service practices
  • Recruit new channels to the network through Screenwave Media recruiting practices
  • Attend weekly channel management meetings
  • Assist in channel management policy and recruiting policy development meetings as appropriate
  • Maintain a current knowledge of trends, features, and practices on YouTube
  • Assist in general channel support activities across the network as appropriate (ex: develop channel artwork, thumbnails or visit a channel that is local to you geographically)
  • Attend ongoing training meetings and perform training related tasks to keep support skills current
  • Attend events such as YouTube Space events and conventions as a representative of Screenwave Media
